# Create Emergency Safe

Building an Emergency Safe on CoinSafe isn’t just about saving money, it’s about giving yourself instant, penalty-free access to funds when life throws the unexpected your way.

Whether it’s a sudden medical bill, urgent travel expense, or a personal emergency, having a dedicated Emergency Safe means you can act quickly without worrying about fees or disrupting your long-term saving plans.

#### Why Create an Emergency Safe?

Life is unpredictable, and even the best financial plans can get disrupted by sudden expenses: medical emergencies, urgent travel, unexpected bills, or personal crises.

An Emergency Safe gives you:

* A dedicated fund that’s separate from your daily savings and streak goals
* Instant, penalty-free access whenever you truly need it
* Peace of mind, knowing you won’t have to break your main savings strategy to handle an urgent need

Unlike other safes, withdrawing early from your Emergency Safe never incurs fees or penalties.\
It’s your personal safety net, always ready and always flexible, built right into CoinSafe.

#### **How to Create Your Emergency Safe**

Follow these simple steps to set up and top up your Emergency Safe directly from your CoinSafe dashboard:

***

#### 1️⃣ Connect Your Wallet

Before anything else, make sure your crypto wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet) is connected to CoinSafe.\
This allows the app to interact with your assets securely.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://coinsafe.gitbook.io/coinsafe-docs/emergency-safe/create-emergency-safe.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
