# Wallet Overview

Your wallet is your key to using Coinsafe. It’s how you **securely save, manage, and interact with your safes**—all while staying in full control of your funds.

## **🔐 Connect or Create a Wallet**

You have two options to get started:

### **1️⃣ Connect an Existing Wallet**

Already have a wallet like **MetaMask**, **Trust Wallet**, or **Coinbase Wallet**?

Simply connect it to Coinsafe and you’re good to go.

* Supported on desktop and mobile
* Works with popular EVM wallets
* Your funds stay in your control—always

### **2️⃣ Create a Smart Wallet**

Don’t have a wallet? You can **create one in seconds** using our smart wallet powered by **Thirdweb’s account abstraction**.

* No need to download browser extensions
* Log in with just an email or social account
* Built-in security and gas abstraction
* Ideal for new users or first-time savers

## **⚙️ What Your Wallet Lets You Do**

Once connected, your wallet lets you:

* Create and manage Target Safes or AutoSafes
* Top up or extend existing safes
* View savings activity and transaction history
* Claim your funds when a Safe matures
* Unlock early (with a breaking fee)

## **Note**

* Coinsafe does **not store your private keys**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://coinsafe.gitbook.io/coinsafe-docs/wallet-core-account/wallet-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
